On 6th June 2024, Steve Shaw and Rupert Meadows from Power for People visited East Ham Library in Newham, London and met with CEO of Repowering London, Afsheen Rashid.

We talked about how the library’s 75kw community-led solar scheme will reduce energy bills and create local benefits. If enabled by the Government, there could be so many more schemes like this across the borough and the country.
